RGR on the movie Trolls, took the grandkids 4 and 6. Animated musical, songs from the 60s 70s 80s and new songs. Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick principal singers. 5 shovels out of 5 for the 4-10 age group, they were fixated, upbeat music, lots of color and movement.
Younger ones loved it!
Amazing turn a 60s plastic good luck troll into a movie!

Actually watched the recent Three Stooges movies last night.

At first I thought it was a poor imitation but as it went on I started to laugh.

I convinced my self to watch Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter today and it was actually not a bad movie, unless you are from the south.
Did not think they could incorporate civil rights into such a movie but they did.

@Tarev I watched 2 episodes of Paranoid. Typical Brit series, it starts out slow. I am hopeful it will get better and better. The acting is great!

RGR on the movie Fantastic Beasts, fun movie... Potteresque. Great CG, mystical characters, wizards and others. Will be enjoyed by all from 10 and up, possibly down to 8, below that the story would be hard to follow and a little dark. Sometimes Eddie Redmayne the main character, Newt is difficult to understand...sorta of mumbles. Overall a good movie with great sets and characters. 4 3/4 shovels out of 5. Another great job by JK Rowling!

RGR review of the movie "Allied," possibly based on true events in WW2, would have liked more background for the character development, gave the look and feel of what it might be like during that period. R rated, 3 1/2 shovels out of 5.

Rj,
I can't wait to see Fantastic Beasts! I have all the Harry Potter movies taped and watch them often.

Good guess Susan!

I watched a movie called "Man Up." It was hilarious and I could sit down and watch it all over again!

The movie is based on a hearsay story at best.
Any character development would be pure fiction.

I started liking West World. Then I missed a few episodes in a row. I can't get back into it. I guess I will have to start over and binge watch it. It's my favorite thing to do anyway.

Watched TCL Long Lost Family late Thursday Night. Makes me cry every time! A touching Reality TV Show. And I don't like Reality TV! Either the stories are real or they have some darn good actors! Thumbs up

Cheryl, you can watch the episodes you missed on HBO's website or on the HBO Go app on a tablet, phone, smart TV, or streaming device (roku, etc.).
