I had Red Charm opened for me a few days ago but my camera is capturing totally wrong red color, so I better not post it. Instead, a couple of pictures from somewhere else... Edwards Garden, yellows are wrong as well, they are more yellow in person.

Roselette opened up fully in just a few hours as did the fernleaf hybrid. Roselette was 34" with two blooms last year. It is 41" with five blooms this year. And bigger blooms

In a damp and windy early May, Yachiyo Tsubaki was the star tree peony in my backyard this year.

Yachiyo Tsubaki is wonderful, isn't it? It always has more blossoms here than every other tree peony. Lovely marsrover

Simply Red - An unregistered Itoh bred by Planteck that I've never seen since purchasing it. It's a pink red and the foliage is unlike any Itoh I've seen before. Very vigorous.



Salmon Glory - It would later fade almost completely to white.

Lollipop - Kind of disappointed with the wrinkled petal form and there wasn't tons of lavender streaking. Then again, it was its first year blooming. I found it interesting that the flowers stayed flushed with pink whereas the photos I've seen online have all had yellow flowers.

I agree somehow many Itoh peonies have undesirable wrinkled petals.
