hi Donald, it does look as if it has been washed too hot.... Confused

My first flower of this season is Pawprints on my Heart
First time in my garden and first time for this plant
Thumb of 2016-05-13/Mayo62/0367c7

It didn't open enough and the colors could be better.. Blinking

The coming days will be 12C (!) cooler than this week, so I hope the other flowers wait opening until it gets a bit warmer again Whistling

Rolling on the floor laughing It does look stonewashed, doesn't it?

Probably yours will be better when it gets warmer. I'm not sure this 'early to bloom' is such a good thing, despite being impatient to see the bloom season start. I found scapes emerging today on one of my very latest ones. I'm not sure how that will work out Shrug! .

Y'all sure have a mighty fine collection of daylily cultivars. I am jealous!

These are from the past 3 days. Some of these are blooming for the very first time for me. So excited to see new cultivars bloom in my garden:

Betty Warren Woods:

Thumb of 2016-05-14/beckygardener/f28c1a

Little Rosy Cloud. This is the cutest and tiniest daylily bloom I have ever seen! :

Thumb of 2016-05-14/beckygardener/c74f5a

Another photo of the above miniature daylily. I am smitten with these tiny ones! :

And I just love Siloam Double Classic:

Little Rosy Cloud is a cutie!
I see why you love Azure Prism. Dragonfly Dawn and In a Jiffy are so sweet.
Cranberry Eyed Picotee and Yahoo Lavender Rose are beauties.
Love Isolde too.
I can't compare my bloom times to my Texas friends since I don't have the same ones. Although some of my early ones are considered midseason

Some more (new to me) named daylilies blooming. This is such a treat to see so many new ones! One thing that I do have to say .... many of the registered ones I've acquire over the past year appear superior to most of my seedlings. Picking a good seedling to name is no accident. It takes knowledge and a keen eye!

Wild One (I knew I would just love this one!) So far the foliage have been clean from rust:

Thumb of 2016-05-14/beckygardener/a1ce58

It has several scapes and I believe still has 5 fans (I received it the end of August from Susan (stilldew):

Thumb of 2016-05-14/beckygardener/4f76be

Gleber's Top Cream has a bloom appearance that I find fascinating. Clean foliage so far:

I truly love Siloam Double Classic. It was recommended to me by members here and I received this beauty from Theresa (tgarden711) a year ago:

'Wild One' does look nice in nearly any photo I've ever seen of it. I used to have it on my wish list, but replaced with a UF with a similar color/pattern.

My first diploid bloomed today. 'Tigereye Spider'. There are 10 scapes hovering above the foliage with lots of buds. Crossing Fingers! the weather this week just keeps to only rain without hail and wind.

Collard Dream FFO--sent as a bonus and this is the fourth year in our garden. It is a very pretty red.

Thumb of 2016-05-14/Avedon/a7a3ca
Persian Market FFO--excellent daylily. There are about 32 scapes on this plant now.

Thumb of 2016-05-14/Avedon/87c823
In My Pink High Heels-FFO. For some reason this plant has not done well the past two years. The flowers bloom way down in the foliage. The scapes have never achieved the listed height of 32". It gets plenty of sunlight and great care, so don't know what's not working here.

Thumb of 2016-05-14/Avedon/7f9239
Wild Horses--posting this picture, for I thought I would never see this daylily produce this many flowers at one time. Since we moved it to get lots more sun, this DL has finally started being what we had always thought it should be. We are so happy that we are not going to have to toss it, for it was close to being composted.

Siloam Double Classic--since this one seems to be such a favorite, here is a picture of one of our plants. There are lots of flowers and they are all double.

Egyptian Queen, this is first flower since planting last year

Thumb of 2016-05-14/canadanna/8751a8

I think this is Siloam Ethyl Smith. It was was transplanted last year and there was no marker. It is a harsh environment near the edge of a raised bed that didn't get watered all winter but we have had a lot of rain. I will probably move it again

Thumb of 2016-05-14/canadanna/2270bc
Always Afternoon is a reliable bloomer. I have had since 2011 when I went to see the Azalea trail in Tyler. No azaleas blooming but got some nice day lilies at a farmers market!
