I had 2 cultivars blooming this year for the first time today.

I read where some here say that they get singles on this one - Siloam Double Classic. I've never seen a single on mine:

Galaxy Explosion. I was thinking this one would have bigger blooms. It still caught my eye first thing this morning. It doesn't seem to fade in the sun.:

I was also surprised by the bloom size on GE when I first got it several years ago.

Only 1 named daylily blooming today.

Gleber's Top Creme: It has had no rust, has diamond dusting on petals, short scapes so far (11"). I forgot to measure the first bloom, but it is smaller than I was expecting at this time. It is a newly acquired daylily with only 2 fans.

Although our temps are back up to the nineties, some are still struggling to recover from the week or so with cooler weather. Hopefully form will improve this week with more consistent temperatures expected.

I have been noticing many short scapes, flowers that are smaller than normal, and flowers that hare hanging up.
Has anyone else been having the same issues?

Here are my few from today:

Regina, I've had short scapes on several too, but all of mine were moved last fall, so it may be due to the plants not being established.

Aniakchak--first flower ever--the hybridizer lists this one as having 46 buds, sure hope that happens.

I'm jealous of all your blooms Sticking tongue out . Being in zone 5a, no blooms yet. I do have a scape on Celebration of Angels though. Surprisingly, I don't see scapes yet on (NOID) my yellow daylily that ALWAYS blooms very, very, early. Way before any other daylily I have. We had a nice all-day-rain today so I'll probably be seeing scapes beginning soon.

I did have couple of new blooms today on 'Cinnamon Faces'. I took photos this morning, but waited to see if they would flatten out later. They didn't. Temps got into the 90sF with a stiff breeze at times, so I guess these buds had established their form some time earlier. It's the 2nd named cultivar that has bloomed. Interesting that it is a child of 'Tusk' which is now down to the last four buds.

I had some interested nag blooms today (yesterday, now that it's after midnight):

This one was one of the poly buds posted a few days ago:

Thumb of 2016-05-11/scflowers/c9252d

And a very different looking NOID. I'm showing it as it bloomed today-morning and evening-, when the wind blew part of it away a couple of days ago on its first bloom, and what it looked like last year on the day I purchased it. It appears to have stipples and streaks...it also is a poly today and appears to have several more buds that will be poly form.

No guesses on the NOIDs but they're pretty, especially the last one.
