I've only gotten 100% correct cultivars when I bought from Guntis Grants and directly from a couple of Dutch vendors. Even a very well known British vendor has sent me a small percentage of incorrect bulbs three times in a row.
Hopefully you didn't have Red Velvet before, Joshua. I know it's a common one, but it remains a true standout among lilies.

Instead of cancellation because of crop failure or oversold, they just throw in an "almost" or a "not even close" lily. I have heard time and time again from different suppliers how frustrating this is. In the end, it is their name that is tarnished and not those of the supplier. All while accepting of an occasional mistake, we are all human, this is quite a different problem.

Reddish patches on yellow? Funny thing is, in a certain light I think it looks green - I must need my eyes checked!
