Dealing with medical personnel can be frustrating, no matter where you are located. So many of them have the attitude that you can not possibly know what you need because THEY are the professionals and are the only ones to make that determination. I am sorry that you had the fall and that you are having to cope with that hindrance, too.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

Neil, I agree with what Brenda said yesterday and I´m worried about you and your health. Has your eyesight changed??? The photo of your mother´s sewing picture is the first blurred photo I have seen from you. I hope it is the lens, not you. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Dear Magga, my eyesight is fine thank you! I never got a chance to try the settings on the lens or the camera I just wanted to make sure it worked which it did so I think the setting were wrong! the Doctors all say the same and it will take time and I should rest but that is easier said than done with two ill parents who rely on me for a lot of things and my brother does not help out at all. He always claims he has my nieces to look after but they are 16, 15 and 13 and are quite capable of cooking as they have been taught and looking after themselves. It is about time he did something to help out!
As long as I rest and don't do too much I am fine.
Thank you for your concern.
Group hug
Neil.

I thought the same thing Magga. Neil, please rest as much as you can. Sit and read the instructions for the lens. Rolling on the floor laughing

Sorry I cannot put plant pictures on at the moment but there is not mush about and we are expecting snow, however spring is early here and the spring flowers will soon be out and if I am well enough I can go use the camera again! When I came back from the Hospital on the 21st I had a nice rest but when I got up I was itching all over and Sarah thought I had a rash so I had a nice long bath which made it worse. So it was back to the Doctors on the Monday again and she went through a great list as she thought I may have eaten something I was allergic to but i have not eaten anything different at all. So it was a case of going through of what I had done and I told her about the Hospital. She knows they are doing a lot of building work down there mostly on a night in some areas like A&E so wanted to know if there was dust or anything else which there was a lot of dust blowing around and also they were carrying in that fiberglass that is used for insulation and laying it out in an area. The Doctor says it could be cement dust or fiberglass as that stuff really makes you itch or both, so thank you Lewisham Hospital for that.
Now I have more tablets to take and cream to put on although it has not eased it much plus it is difficult to sleep with it on your back and front! I did not notice it in the Hospital as it was so cold in there it was only when I woke up in the warm did it start. What a nuisance so I have not had much luck in the last couple of weeks!
Hope you are all well and keeping warm.

Dear Nancy, I would never cross you off the list or anyone off the list as you are all too special to me for that! I am aware there is not as many posts as on other forums but the people who do post on here are brilliant and have become friends even though we are may thousands of miles apart! I have been trying to put posts on when I can but have been trying to rest as much as possible after my unfortunate incident! As I get better I will put more on and hopefully pictures when the weather allows of course, or rather if it ever allows for this is England after all. Rolling on the floor laughing
I am saving up to get another new lens for my camera and they are not cheap, to say the least.
Keep well and most importantly safe and warm!

Warm........ yeah heater went out and Ed went to work ANYWAY. Said you won't freeze before I get home. He's not going to know how to fix it. He should have CALLED somebody to come and check it. Sometimes I wonder about that hubby of mine.

Right now with the sun shining, my sun room is warmer than inside the house. 58 in here and 62 out in the sun room and bright sun shine. Should have left a table in there and I could take the laptop out there instead of sitting in the chilly. That'll teach me. good and proper.

The snow has been melting here for 3 days. I think we had at least 2 feet of snow and we haven´t seen the ground for 2 months until this morning. But there are still mountains of snow in open areas around here that have been hauled from streets and walkways, that will not melt until spring. Rolling my eyes.

Neil, what bad luck you have had Sad I was thinking if this rash you told us about could be due to allergy to some pills or some mixing of medicine you have had. I hope you will be better soon. Take good care of yourself, rest and read your camera manuals well. I look forwards to your beautiful photos. Thumbs up

Cherie, I wouldn´t wait for my hubby to call the repairman Hilarious!

I get that kind of itch with some meds.

Neil, Spring is definitely coming. In our case, we haven't had Winter yet (shhhh, don't tell or we may get socked with ice just for fun!). Here are some of the plants in my yard today. Hope they make you feel just a little better. Group hug

Yes, we generally get hit with a bad ice storm around mid-February. (Garland is a NE suburb of Dallas) But we are also pretty much done with winter by the first week of March. Sooo, if we clear the next month... Smiling
