I've had a great time viewing your photos in my off season and I am glad I can now do the same for you. I have started a blog and will post my iris photos there too if anyone wants to view them without having to remember what page of the forum they are on.
Robin, you are correct, that sparkle is indeed diamond dusting. That's one of the qualities that captivated me as a child and I still find myself staring at sparkling blooms in the sun!

My experiment with Sugar Maple and not letting it go dormant by keeping it well watered is still paying off.
I have another bloom. And this is growing in a two gallon pot!
