How often have I done something like this, and gotten myself so confused. So I know how you feel.
No, you are not having problems with autocorrect. I was actually responding to a post by Fred, and that one was not directed at you. If you go back and read the thread you will see you got a little confused on the replies.

Lol! That's probably what happened, then. I guess confusion is bound to happen when were making so many posts!

Dang! I sometimes despise autocorrect, but only being able to copy one thing is the same frustration! I tried to copy names of a seedling by spunky1 and another by kylaluaz to tell you how awesome they are, but they're both on the previous page, so I couldn't keep a draft of the reply in order to go back and copy the names, so I give up... You both have some amazing seedlings!!

I have my first seedling blooms today Hurray! I decided to play hookie from work today, It's my birthday, and I figured seeing the seedlings this morning would be a great gift to my self. I have not taken the time to look up the crosses, but here goes.

I do know this has Oklahoma Sand Burr in it, one-year-old plant.

Not very pretty, on the short side, but is FFE, two-year-old plant.

Smaller bloom and tall, don't care much for the brown/bronze color, sibling to orange one above.

Many more blooms to come, very excited that bloom season has begun, it's like receiving a gift every day when the seedlings start blooming.

Every time this one blooms I end up working late, I'd love to see what it looks like around 9 or 10 in the morning. pic was taken after 6 this evening.

I am getting some seedling clump blooms and they sure look quite lovely en masse. You can't really appreciate cultivars until they produce lots of blooms all at once!

Unknown parentage (but regardless, sure looks beautiful! ):

Another angle:

Thumb of 2016-06-10/beckygardener/442408

Unknown parentage on this one, too. (Though I suspect that it has Mama's Cherry Pie in it!):

Thumb of 2016-06-10/beckygardener/161f28

And 2 blooms together on one of my favorites. I do believe this unknown parentage seedling has Trahlyta in it. It's a shortie though.:

And this is this year's seedlings that need to be planted out very soon .... if this rain would only stop long enough for me to work outside. There are currently 153 seedlings total in these cups:

Bins #1 & #2:

Bin #3:

I have 37 seedlings among them that have Dragonfly Dawn in the parentage. And I noted also that any seedlings that have Whale Tails in the parentage have very robust small fans. I think next year's new seedling blooms are going to be a real sight to see if they all survive. Can't wait! Thumbs up

@spunky1

Fred, is this typical for this seedling? (Or don't know yet?) If it is, can I claim dibs on a fan of this when you intro it? (Because you WILL introduce this, LoL! nodding ). I'm being atleast half serious, though.... If it poly's the majority of the time, with frequent 5-petal poly's, that's a daylily I want!

Edited to add: do you know the parentage?

I had a few of my own home grown seedlings to bloom today, but they were so plain looking it seems I didn't even bother taking a photo of them, I was in too much of a hurry to get down and check out Sdl. # 11, the one with the instant rebloom scapes. I do hope they develop at least some traits that make them keepers.
Well I guess I am a little disappointed by the fact that the bloom looks so much like the other yellow blooms on some of the other seedlings, but other than that it is a great bloom.

I was gone when the first scape bloomed on one of these two fans, now a first scape is blooming on this second fan, and both fans already have another scape.

Here are two siblings of Phenomenal Phoenix X Rebekah's Gothic Spider. Right next to each other, very similar color, totally different forms to the blooms which is most cool.

Here they are together, though you can't see that much of the second one:

The yellow seedling from yesterday, Starsearch X Sexy Sally, turned even prettier as the day went on. Sadly there are only maybe two more buds on the scape, no branching. Still, I have hopes for this one, just love the blossom.

@barbalee, I usually have two windows open. One to scroll through the thread and one to reply to it Smiling Because sometimes so many pictures are posted, it saves scrolling up and down in the reply window.

Yes, I always have two screens open, too, so I can read about the cultivars and their parents from the database or flick to other related threads.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
