How id you get that butterfly koi to hold still Lindsey? Great photos, Selby is right up there with my favorite gardens.

We took this picture for Jen. Lindsey, Elaine and me in my new Tilley hat that I brought back from Indiana. I came home with 3 bromeliads and two pieces of cork, Selby was wonderful, Tropiflora was quiet, the weather was hot and the company was great. Another friend, Betsy, from the orchid club was with us and we hope she pops in here on our orchid forum.

Take LOTS of pictures ...LOTS...I took maybe 25 of that fish...the more pictures you take...the better your odds!

I was sad that the Plantio greenhouse was locked up tight while Rafael is out of the country..but I did find
one of his plants in the Tropiflora shop next door. I don't usually buy NOID plants ...and I certainly don't ever pay full price for them...but I could not resist this one with an ID # that everyone assured me Rafael will be able to tell me about. The fragrance is of strong clove..almost as strong as a star gazer lily..that alone sealed the deal for me!

Wow! Beautiful blooms, and The scent of clove would seal it for me too!

This is me. I also attached a picture of my puppy Charlie. I recently lost my yorkie to an unforeseen heart issue. I was devastated. I don't have any kids so my yorkie was mine and my boyfriends only baby. He was 11, but it was still unexpected. My mom saw the grief I was in and she is dog lover herself. She surprised me with this little yorkie/Maltese. I have had him for about three weeks and am in love with little Charlie. My mom and Charlie are lifesavers. I am so appreciative for this wonderful gift.
