I'm enjoying all the wonderfull photo's of all your DL flowers! Lovey dubby Thank You!

I'vee been busy busy busy with settling my brothers and moms affairs, clearing out my mom's house and cultivating my 'Terra Nova' (i.e. getting rid of the weeds on my allotment Rolling on the floor laughing ), so I didn't have enough time to post my own photo's.

I'm way behind on looking at posts and posting photos too. Too little rain, too much heat and too many daylilies and lilies to dead head has been keeping me busy, so some of these may be end of June blooms.

Dennis, Mayo, Sharon, and Susan - Simply Gorgeous! Every single one of them.

Susan - I have a question for you ..... Are you sure that photo you posted is of Paige's Pinata? I thought PP had a large eye? Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Paige's Pinata')

I got my Paige's Pinata from you and it currently has a single scape with what looks like 2 buds forming on it. Mine has yet to bloom for the first time for me. I really like Paige's Pinata in the Plant Database, but if my PP looks like yours .... Wow! Looks like a double bloom to me! Very pretty color, too! Lovey dubby

Jungle Beauty does ok in the heat, but has had a shorter bloom cycle. Less than 2 years still room for improvement, hopefully.
May you be blessed with a calm week!

Real beauties you all are posting here. We grow about 900 registered Daylilies and your shared pics make me want more.

Some of you are mentioning how dry it is where you live. We have had 13 inches of rain this year. Only 1.1 inch in June. And to go with it temps in the mid to high 90's. I have watered quite a bit but have 3000 Daylilies with all the seedlings.

Some minis I received in May keep giving me new ones to see. Not new Daylilies, just new to our garden.

Hi,
Daylilies are blooming. Here are some of the last few days.
- 'Spacecoast Christmas Stockings' doing a great job with the heat

- Boitzer Lady Alabaster, new this year. Had trouble to open yesterday, but I'm sure it'll be better next year.

- One of my favourites Wilkerson's seedling 0819 : perfect colour with the blue sky we're having.

Today's beauty - Alpha Centauri.
Height - 31-40 inches. 6" bloom. Pure yellow flowers with a lime green throat. Strong, top-branched scapes. Diamond dusted, ruffled petals.

I bought this at the end of last season, sight unseen (past their bloom), just to get a bit of yellow into my orange lily bed. So happy with them! My only issue with these beauties is that those long scapes make them vulnerable to our strong July storms. One of them is leaning over quite drunkenly. I'll get these some props for next year.

Against my hand for comparison of size
