Robin's Orange Eyelashes (named after our daughter)

It's listed at 41", 21-25 buds, and 3-way branching. However, this year it's at 51", 30+ buds, and 7-way branching. I'll wait to see what it does next year. If this year's stats hold, I'll have to think about making a correction in the listing.

I think in terms of daylilies the average is $20 to $25. You can find bargains for less and we all know you can spend alot more.
Larry-- I think after all your successes, you will enjoy those four!
Daniel--I am with you $20 has been our gardens cap, but inflation may get my garden! Hilarious!
Many blessings for your gardening success and opportunities!

Y'all are rocking it out with new purchases and bloom photos! AND intros (LarryR)!

LarryR - Beautiful! I can see the parent resemblance! Lovey dubby

Daniel - I hear ya on $20 limit. I don't think I have any daylilies that were even that expensive. I think $15-18 was my limit of any cultivar purchase and I closed my eyes when I purchased that one and dreamed of hitting the lotto. Oh! To have a blank, signed check from someone like Bill Gates or a no-limit credit card. Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Daniel-- Sometimes you have to do what you have to do! In high school my oldest wanted shoes that 3x more than any other shoe I had purchased. My response use your birthday money. After one year of full time teenage wear they were still in good shape. Made the shoes a bargain. Usually you never know the worth of something till you actually use it. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. May you blessed to win!

Cindy--I love it! It is like you have back- up daylilies! Oldies but goodies! They look great and the pictures are good!

Many blessings for your continued successes and a wonderful week!

Thanks Sharon Smiling Yes, usually when they are done blooming here in lower Michigan, I can look forward to some bloom in northern Michigan, except this year the daylilies in northern Michigan must have started blooming earlier and most of the bloom is already finished.

Cindy, I'm so happy to see a photo of Mateus that actually shows its vibrant color. There are some very nice Gilbert Wild daylilies, oldies but goodies. Here's another of his, Gentle Ed:

Oh that is a very nice one. I have not heard of that one before. When I first got into daylilies many years ago Oakes and Wild's were the two places I ordered from. When I discovered the Lily Auction, that sure did change my ordering habits. Smiling

Thanks Barb... I have only one or two scapes left. Hopefully I will get a few reblooms. Imperial Majesty had three buds, but the two smaller ones aborted. Mike Longo got a slow start but it looks good. The Dark Side is reblooming! I along with my plants are suffering in the heat and humidity of zone 8....it's down right steamy here.

I have blooms aborting, too. At least they tried. The ones you had today look good! Many blessings for a wonderful and safe weekend!
