I had another bloom on Spiny Sea Urchin today. I didn't take a photo though. I also noticed scapes on some others. Can't recall off hand if they had already bloomed prior or if these are FFO blooms. If they are re-blooms, I'll recognize the flowers. With my luck, they will probably bloom after I have to go back to work.

Finally got the daylilies in the ground I purchased from LarryR last night! The one clump had several fans so they multiplied in number from the 6 I purchased This is what I planted (pictures downloaded from this website - not mine):

WOW Lisa - beautiful blooms - and I have no clue how you keep track of the names of all of them! It looks to me like during bloom season you would just camp out in your back yard and enjoy the view! Pretty sure your neighbors also enjoy the wonderful view!

Beautiful images! Enjoyed seeing your garden at peak Lisa. Wondering what your second noid might be Cindy....I had a visitor to the garden last weekend who, after purchasing several daylilies, saw another one she really loved. So I dug the huge clump, divided it and added a half of the clump piece to her bags. She returned on Monday with a mini clump of one of her favorite older daylilies for me. This one is definitely older and has scapes similar to a species, tall, well branched with a brick red bloom similar to your image. I know I've seen it before...just can't remember the name. The garden is at peak, finally, and there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. Anyhow....I need to get some images posted before we flip the thread to August Blooms!

I wish I had extras, I would share with you! Unfortunately, I purchased mine at a local daylily show, it was a donation from an unknown source or I would refer you. Have you tried looking at Valley of the Daylilies? They have a LOT of cultivars, particularly older varieties. If they dont' have it, I'll try to help you out with a search. American Revolution is a beauty and I do recommend it. (I'm glad to see I'm not the only one whose head is turned by stunning, older daylilies...the 'designer' daylilies get all of the credit and attention nowadays, but sometimes bolder older daylilies are more beautiful. )

Valley of the Daylilies doesn't have it... I enjoy researching so I'll see what I can find
