Thank you for all the nice comments about the display garden! Mike, do not wait until you grow up. When your all grown up (aged...old Whistling ) and faced with the amount of work it takes to keep a garden that size in shape, you will wish you had done it when you were younger Smiling Even with the work it is peaceful, weeding, planting, preparing orders, chatting with visitors or sitting on the deck just relaxing while it is in bloom, a garden is good for the body, mind and soul.

Love all the poly's, and Rock Lobster with the Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea, what a perfect combination! A long list tonight, only one more day to empty the July folder.....

Cindy--Very nice blooms! I like your Heartbeat to Heaven. Very beautiful!

Ginny--Rock Lobster perfect daylily to put next to your simply fantastic hydrangea! Your other blooms look great too! I would have thought that they would have been green! Green with envy that they do not get to hug a hydrangea like that! Good gardening skills!

Hilary--Gorgeous! Just wonderful vivid blooms! The color and clarity is always marvelous!

Dana--those are two beautiful blooms! Good job!

May everyone be blessed with their very own special miracle!

I am behind on posting photos, but here are a few from yesterday. When I get them sorted, I will post a few from earlier in the week and today, if I haven't already posted them Whistling

Baby Blue Eyes - This one is new to my garden this year, part of my Fairyscape order this spring.

Fragrant Pastel Cheers - I bought this last season, and it is doing great.

Malaysian Monarch - This has been in the garden for a few years, and is finally hitting its stride.

Pony - I love this little bitone. I like how the prominent midribs on the petals repeat the colour of the sepals.

Snow Valley - This is one of my original daylilies from the early 1990's.

Velvet Eyes FFE - Another new one this year, also from Fairyscape. It is beautiful!

A close up of Wolverine Eyes - I bought this one at the same time as Velvet Eyes.

Rob - Nice photo!

Valerie - Lots of lovely blooms. I am quite smitten with Pony, too. How big are the blooms?

Here are a few from earlier in the week.

Isle of Dreams - This is one from my Harbour Breezes order this spring, and it has been blooming like crazy this summer. I am very pleased with its performance.

Siloam David Kirchhoff - I love the little flower on this one. Unfortunately, the foliage starts to go dormant early in my dry garden.

Susan Weber FFE - Another one of my Harbour Breezes order. Such a pretty flower.

Calico Jack - I bought this one last year, late in the season. I have planted it in front of my tiger lilies thinking it might bloom around the same time, but it is earlier, or my tiger lilies are later Hilarious!

Daring Deception - This one has been in the garden for several years, and it is still one that I like very much.

A few more from earlier in the week. My week got away from me. Sometimes that happens Hilarious!

Siloam Virginia Henson FFE - A bonus plant from my Harbour Breezes order.

Chicago Cattleya - Another oldie that has been in my garden for many years, but I think it holds up well.

Peggy Jeffcoat - Always beautiful. We are in the midst of a drought, however, we did have a brief 5 minute shower, just enough to wet the blooms when I was photographing this day Rolling my eyes.

Priscilla's Rainbow - New to the garden last year and performing very well so far.

Unique Style - Another new one to the garden this year from Harbour Breezes.

Now a few from yesterday.

Early Snow - A huge white flower. Very striking in the garden. I bought this potted last summer from a local nursery and it has been a very strong grower for me.
Thumb of 2016-07-31/touchofsky/b9c807

Arnold's Daughter - New this spring and it has settled in and has been blooming very well.

Ethereal Light FFE - A bonus plant this year, and I like it a lot.

Pompeian Purple - A very nice purple mini. This was taken later in the day, and the bloom is not as dark as it was in the morning.

Siloam Peony Display - A pretty Siloam double.

Spirit World - A very good small purple that is very lightfast in my garden.

Strutter's Ball - This is just such a pretty cultivar. I always get so many comments about this plant.
