Oh that looks really nice. Great job
Well I picked up this pot I think it will make a really nice sedum planter. I like the unglazed edge with the streaked blue glaze. It looks bigger in this pic than it really is you can see the size by looking at the bricks. Holly

That is nice Holly. Which sedum are you planting? I really like that blue.
The pots I'm getting from Janet will probably be here sometime next week. Can't wait to get them.
I'm not sure yet I think I will be shopping for new plants soon. We have a good sized party in two weeks so I am busy weeding, planting, mulching and general party organization. I don't think I will plant anything until after the party. I have the wreath, the blue cluster pots and this long pot. I have been looking when I stop at nurseries but so far haven't brought much home yet.

Thank you, Linda---so glad you like it! This was one of those pieces that worked out well because I had no idea what I was doing....LOL!
I'm working on improving the attaching technique----I have some 3- and 4-pot clusters in various stages right now. If they come out of the glaze kiln OK, I'll be ready to tackle more. I DO think my success rate is getting better!
I really love it....I use to own a ceramic shop and I know how hard it can be to prop everything just right. Pieces in a kiln can sometimes move around while being fired. I use to love opening the kiln to see what all the pieces looked like after firing....sometimes disappointing, but the major of the time it was fantastic. I still have 2 kilns stored away. Probably will never use them again unless I get pot happy..... Flower pot happy, that is.....
Yep, I always call it a "crap shoot"...ya never know what you're gonna end up with----sometimes it's the Christmas present and sometimes it's the coal....LOL!
I always liked glazing as you just never knew what you had until it came out of the kiln. I use to do a good bit of ceramics but have only tried my hand at pottery a few times. One of these days I would like to take classes. I had a very old kiln many years ago and had a chance to buy an excellent one and a very good price but at the time I really didn't have anywhere to put it and even at that good price I had to ask myself if that was where the $$ should go.

The pot was a gift for my friend, and unfortunately I don't know what plants she put in it----and she probably doesn't know, either.....she's not the best at keeping tags. Hopefully someone on this forum will be able to ID it!
Seven....but it SEEMED like nine! It was my first "cluster pot", and I had no clue what I was doing. Fortunately, a good glaze and some great plants hide a lot of flaws!
