Finally, a hard frost! I went out in the yard with handheld macro lens. Clearly I need to slow down, take a lot fewer photos, and USE the tripod I bought... But anyway although none will win awards I enjoyed my outing. Now of course it is too late, it's all melting, and the sun is going down.

Wow Mary, these are all gorgeous but I especially love the shroom. But if I may ask, how did you get the black background on this picture?
