I think you are getting much more than we are actually. At least for now. Hang in there!

Leslie, these rhizomes were beyond small. These were the smallest of the small - what was left over after I replanted, and mailed some out. (As I noted on page 2 (?), 6 of the 9, including this one, were 3/4" or less in size.)

I am hoping that these rhizomes grow big enough to give to the club next August, for the sale. We'll see, I guess... If not, I have some 'Afternoon Delight' left over after replanting; I suppose I should go pot those up, too. Rolling my eyes. At least (having been grown in the ground) they are mostly bigger to start with, than the leftover 'Clarence' rhizomes were. (Those were all grown jammed together in two 1 gal pots.)
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Sounds like it's wet and wild out there! Stay safe, and I hope that the power stays on!

The people north of us better get ready. All the models show it slowing down, then spinning around off New Jersey before heading to - well no one knows. Hope the winds stay away from you but the needed rain gets inland far enough.

Nothing left here now but a windy day. In the 60's though so I am going to really enjoy planting!!!

Fortunately, rabbits aren't much of a problem around my flowers. The cats, hawks, and coyotes seem to keep them in check.

We have lots of rabbits in England - but they tend to like eating the lawns, so I let them be. I do give chase if I see them sampling anything in the beds and borders... Darcy, yours is really cute!

Rabbits just hide in the yard. The coyotes keep the population way down.

Happy we don't have them here - not sure what would be most destructive, the rabbits or Cuddles racing through my beds and borders trying to catch them... Thumbs down

is still not showing any new growth:

Except from the leaves turning brown during winter, I am not expecting to see anything happen until next spring.
I can't wait! Hilarious!
