Marti, You could try a saddle bag approach with your horse. A plant on each side if you find something to hang over it that would hold pots.

Thanks all!! I have a succulent? growing here that I'd like to know more about. I've seen it around other peoples homes with different color flowers. Does anyone recognize this?

It does appear to be a sedum. It should come back next year as a larger clump. I like to leave the dead stalks until the new foliage starts peeping through in the spring.

It has come back every spring for the last 3 years and is bigger every yr. I would like to get some of the other colors. These one is white and I saw a neighbor that has some that have pink flowers. Will have to go begging!!

That does look like my plant. Our local nursery is closed for the winter, so will have to wait until May 1st to check it out with them. I'm going begging to the neighbors and see if I can get cuttings in the spring.

It is a great way to start new plants and increase them, to cut some of the stems when they reach full height. Just a two or three stems cut into pieces, each with a joint, will make many new plants.
