Thank you Pegi. I just put them outside in their new home. Now, I'm off to make some more, or paint frog houses, or paint my birdhouses. I love this website.

So cute!

Lynn, the glass piece is the top half of an old Fenton fairy lamp so it already had a hole for the heat to escape. I turned it upside down and put a piece of fine mesh screen in the hole, then added moss, soil, and planted. Big Grin
I garden for the pollinators.

Wow, Debbie, I never thought of using those plastic packing thingies as planters--very creative, and adorable! The little furniture is great!

Hurray! Hurray! I am beside myself looking at all the things being done with found items.
Debbie your miniature garden just blows me away. It is so creative and amazing. Have you posted that over in the Miniature Garden Forum? http://garden.org/forums/view/... Anjl will do flips over it. : )

Tee I would never have though of doing that. And I see those at yard sales all the time. Boy do I need to turn up my creative dial.

Our neighbor is having a yard sale this weekend. I walked over to take a look. Boy did I hit the jackpot.

Lynn, (I know you are sleeping right now), but we on the night shift are not. We are playing.

Anyway............. and Becky you may have a solution too. I made the styrofoam trough, (posted the photo there) , it is a container (posted the photo there) and it is also a miniature garden (and I posted it there). It also is made up of Sedums and Semps (so I could have posted it there). Rolling on the floor laughing I need a guide as to where to post my photos, so it is not so repetitive. Or, does it matter?

Good morning all.

Debbie, if it applies post it. There may be people that don't go to some of the other forums. Don't want them to miss out on great photos. : )

Everything is metal, even the shoe, which is hollow and already has a hole in the bottom. The metal parts to an old garden bench. It is very heavy.

When Lynn's away, the night group will play. What fun. Thumbs up

Ohhh, I am going thrift store/garage sale shopping!

So, was the shoe's hole drilled, rotted or originally created that way?

Linda, I love those "Pretty Much Picasso" petunas, I haven't gotten any yet but I will one of these summers. Nice to hear they are good bloomers. The trick with them is to put them some place close enough to really see the green edge. When they are at a distance the green edge just blends into the foliage. They are great in a pot near a doorway or on a patio where they are seen close up.
Love the multi-shaded purple coleus in the second pic on the right side of the pot.
Becky, I love blue in the garden, too. I have a lot of blue pots with plants in them.
Connie, Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing your tour with us. I agree with Lynn "turquoise jar with the corally red sedum is stunning"
Lot's of great containers can be found at the thrift stores and flea markets. Just think outside the box or should I say outside the pot. Hilarious!
GE, Here is a pot of caladiums for you

I'll have to take a photo of the bottom of the shoe. It feels like metal, but if you look at the bottom where there is a how (broken) it has layers that can almost be peeled apart. Strange stuff and very heavy.

I think I'm going to paint the letter holder after removing the decals and labels. Then relabel it with plant names that will go into the slots.
