Glad you guys got a chuckle. I have to laugh at myself most of the time. I often think of the quintessential English gardeners who look so cultured and capable in their gardening attire. How do they do it? I am always sweaty and dirty and wear the most unflattering but comfortable clothes, hair is pushed back from my face with a headband and a scrunchie to keep it off of my neck. Dare I even mention that the bra line seems to accumulate the most sweat and is often flung off and draped over a bush when I can't stand it any longer
Then it is a quick grab and dash to put it back on when I hear someone coming up the drive. I can only imagine what I look like too - bum up in the air or sitting to weed when I get tired of bending over, sleeping on the ground,....
Ginny, how wonderful to have your gardens on the tour. I enjoy gardening for my own pleasure, but there is something so rewarding when it is shared with other gardening enthusiasts
