Glad you guys got a chuckle. I have to laugh at myself most of the time. I often think of the quintessential English gardeners who look so cultured and capable in their gardening attire. How do they do it? I am always sweaty and dirty and wear the most unflattering but comfortable clothes, hair is pushed back from my face with a headband and a scrunchie to keep it off of my neck. Dare I even mention that the bra line seems to accumulate the most sweat and is often flung off and draped over a bush when I can't stand it any longer Then it is a quick grab and dash to put it back on when I hear someone coming up the drive. I can only imagine what I look like too - bum up in the air or sitting to weed when I get tired of bending over, sleeping on the ground,....

Ginny, how wonderful to have your gardens on the tour. I enjoy gardening for my own pleasure, but there is something so rewarding when it is shared with other gardening enthusiasts

Living in the country makes the gardening attire a whole lot more interesting in the hot weather People keep asking why I put so much into the gardening and flowers since no one can see it - I say I can see it and why shouldn't I enjoy my labor as much as anyone else!!! I do it for me and my family, but do enjoy when others appreciate it too.

I'm with Terri except I would not have the bra on to fling onto the bush later. I would have my arms across my chest when someone would stop for directions. As the neighborhood extended past my house I had to give that up and start wearing one. BUT! I still go out with a healthy stubble on my legs and my way of thinking with my weak eyes, if I can't see it they can't either!

Minds take sharp right turns when the gardening season is winding down and we can't be outside doing our gardening pursuits LOL. I had to read back to see how I went off on such a tangent - yep, it started with garden seating. Ginny, we have all winter to help you figure out some great garden seating to incorporate.
