Sharon. I'm really anxious to see it in bloom since the daylilies were mostly bare root! I think once I get the arbor with the bench and the Joseph's Coat climbing roses it will look more finished

She's a Border Aussie. Half Border Collie and half Australian Shepherd. Very smart!! Loves her routines! I need to feed her less treats She's family. Grandchildren gave her to DH for Christmas but she is definitely my dog

Not much better in life than a good dog. I have 2. A regular Golden Retriever, and an English Golden retriever. Trying to talk the wife into letting me get an english mastiff. Might have to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Lol

This is what happened in our house with the dog:
-DH wanted a mini Australian Shepherd
-kids said too expensive so found a Border/Aussie puppy for $100 from grandkids -supposed to get to 50-60 lbs she's now 80 lbs
-I said ok but it's an outside dog since that's what he wanted and NOT in house
-got puppy for Christmas in dead of very cold winter
-agreed to keep puppy in unfinished basement but NOT upstairs
-got tired of going to basement to play with her every night (she was so cute) so she can be on hardwood floor in kitchen gated off but NOT on carpet
-got tired of sitting in kitchen because I felt bad when she whined because we were in living room so she can come everywhere else on main floor but NOT on the furniture
-bought a leather couch so the dog hair would wipe right off but she is NOT sleeping in our bed and I'm sticking to it

She'll be on the bed before the year is over I bet.

Sheds too much and way too hot!! She actually sleeps on a couch in the basement and loves it. She tells US when it's bedtime

But winter time is right around the corner!! You can lower the heat down quite a bit and save money by using her as a cover.

When we got our first dog my wife was against getting one. Then when I said I'm getting one anyways because i love dogs, she said no dog on furniture,or in our bed. That lasted up until the dog wasn't crated anymore. Now if we go to bed without the dog, she literally paws the door until we let her in. Lays on the bed until we fall asleep, then she moves to the floor. Usually my side so I nearly step on her getting up in the morning.
