I am enjoying the most delicious scrambled eggs. Heat your empty pan on medium. Add a good size pinch of crushed Saffron. Swirl it around in the pan for 30 seconds. Add 1 t. Ghee. Let it blend together for a minute or longer. Add eggs (I just did 3 jumbo.) 2 pinches of shredded Asiago cheese. Do not stir it around too much - make the eggs tougher. Just fold once in a while until done. Plate, pinch of Maldon white flake sea salt. Pinch of Fennel Pollen. Enjoy. Gene
Today's scrambled eggs. Pre heat pan to medium, add Black Mustard seed, Nigella seed. Keep them moving for 1 min. Add Roasted Almond oil, turn heat up to med-hi. Keep stirring until seeds start to open, pop. May take 2-4 min. Add eggs, couple pinches of Thyme, some shredded Romano cheese. Plate, Sprinkle with coarse ground Red Hawaiian Sea Salt. Kinda a woodsy, earthy taste, bit if crunch. I gave it an A. Gene

I am down to the last fridge bits. Leaving to help DD through her surgery...tons of meals packed for hubby in freezer but some things left to use up..last night had 12oz of a nice light fettuccini that was made locally, fresh mushrooms, peppers, garlic, few strips bacon, cheeses, red onion, heavy cream, spinach..so I made a white sauce from all of the above..olive oil based ( no tomatoes) a wee bit butter ( did NOT NEED THAT with the bacon...) ..tossed it over the pasta... it was great! No doubt it will be a "part" of me for a long time to come.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

She has health challenges of the female sort...hopefully this surgery will help.
She had Emmaline when she was 40 and it was rough on her.
Emme was worth it
While I am there I will prepare a bunch of meals and freeze.
Get the kids on and off the bus.
She really doesn't let me help much ..I can work on the garden if it is not too cold

Emme is cute! But she is bossy. Nighttime story time ...we read an entire book (at 4 years ...perhaps 15 pages??). Well, she got this wicked grin and said she wanted me to read THIS book ( it was a children's bible )
