Came home from work when it was too late to take pics, but my Double Peach, Double Daffy and Going Bananas were all re-blooming! Scapes came up on the Double Daffy while we were on vacation so I was really surprised! Still a couple blooms to come from the looks of it.

That is always a pleasant surprise!! Enjoy them!

The bud on Carnal Emporium opened! Sure wish it had bloomed at its normal time, with everything else....would have been nice to set some pods again this year



Mother Upduff, also had a bloom open today on a rebloom scape.

I started this thread on Sept l, with just one daylily blooming, Genesta. I am happy to say that it is still blooming and Mapping Pennsylvania has a rebloom scape and should be blooming soon.

Awesome, Cindy! I'm jealous, but I hope I see re-bloomers next year!

Nice ones Mike, Roman Cohort Cloudy with showers today and the temp fell from low 60's to upper 50's this afternoon. I was surprised to find two blooms to take images of...

Labyrinth, I've taken better images of this one but for a late Sept bloom not to shabby.


and an older bridge seedling (has a nice plant)...not always happy to see white midribs, but it works for me on this seedling.


With any luck our temps won't get to low this weekend, there are more scapes coming up.

Last night we got .23 inches of rain spread throughout the nite keeping us overcast and our low at 50. So...

SOLI DEO GLORIA best bloom yet, hardly any spotting with only a few water drops and canoeing of the sepals to complain about.



Then HEAVENLY UNITED WE STAND which may be my best of the year.



And finally the top fragrant daylily in my garden LOLA BRANHAM who we have to move far away from the dinner table so we can taste our food

No such luck tonight, at 7:30 it was already 37 degrees with a low of 31 predicted. But beauty today!

hurray, I'm online again!

My computer crashed more than a week ago and it took the repairshop this long to get it back
(It is still within the warranty period and they sent it back to the importer instead of repairing it themselves)

Anyway, I'm baa-a-ck!

We've had record temps here, up to 90F this week (here on the coast it was a bit cooler, thank God), although at night it drops below 50F..
But my DL's are still thinking it is Summer

This was a very floppy scape...I didn't support it and now it is nearly parallel to the ground.

On Sept 16, I had a cool bloom on Stella that I don't think I posted:


Although the bud didn't look like a fused bloom at all, the number of pistils and anthers indicate that it was. It's the only fused bloom I've ever seen in my garden to date.

I have blooms on Asterisk, Lake Norman Spider, Magic Dancer, Carnival in Mexico and Gale Storm but the heavy rain this evening will mean there is little chance of any more opening as the temperature has dropped to around 50F.

Not the best pics but it is late in the season. Sun was to bright also. I am taking a photography class next week, so I hope that will help on my skills
