Shannon - I do like that first pink one! What is it?

Picasso's Intrigue started reblooming here today.

I have been in love with Picasso's Intrigue since the first time I saw it online! I tried to order it from Gaskins this Spring but she said it did not grow or bloom well so she didn't want me to be disappointed. I would love to know how it is doing for you in case I want to try to order again sometime. Beautiful Thumbs up Thumbs up

I have some seedlings with Picasso's Intrigue as a parent. I am curious to see what they produce for blooms. The parent is lovely!!!

Ginny - I received Picasso's Intrigue this spring, so it hasn't overwintered here yet. I bought one fan that has now multiplied to four. It bloomed well and is reblooming now. The bud count for me wasn't very high in this first season- 12 or 13 buds per scape. All four fans scaped. So far, so good. I plan to heavily mulch it, and hope for the best.

I'm a 7A, too, even if on the opposite side of the Mississippi. Picasso's Intrigue is definitely on my want list! Thank You! Debra!!

The only bloom today was the first rebloom flower on 'One Fine Day'. I didn't go out to that part of the garden today until this evening (due to dog walking and errands), when I went out to grab some herbs and onions for our dinner salad. The lighting was already iffy for taking a picture. Maybe next bloom.

But I was cheered to see it! Thumbs up

(And annoyed to see that the critters are at my tomatoes again! Grumbling )
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

I love that Picasso's Intrigue as well. Were they concerned that it wouldn't do well because you are in zone 5? I am in zone 8 but we were 7b until a few years ago when they changed us to 8 - and the winter's have been colder since they did so. Sticking tongue out So not sure what zone we are really in, but definitely not as cold as 5. Sounds like it is doing good in 7a!

I don't know how many gorgeous daylily pics from Debra (Shive1) that have enabled me to add these daylilies to my garden as soon as feasible. Her photos are amazing that I think sometimes they are as good or better than the hybidizer's pics. Thanks Debra for sharing so many beauties from your garden. I really love seeing them all.

@Barbalee The other prisms I got were Emerald and Raspberry Prisms and Pirates' Smile.

Thank you, thank you for posting such lovely blooms. They are especially appreciated here where most everything is heat stressed and looks like a woman just finishing a long labor. I especially liked Picasso's Intrigue.

@barbalee ... My hubby was peeking at the site over my shoulder and noticed your avatar pic... He's in flower-love. Is that the same flower as the coreopsis you have listed in/under your profile?

And I'll say too, it sure is striking!

Nice ones! I like to have a few things blooming until frost. Now it is mostly cannas and a few annuals.
I do have scapes on Boundless Beauty and Buddy's Black Jack.

Diana, the Tiger Stripes coreopsis is easy to grow. It's not stunning as a plant, but the blooms are sure interesting! If I had any seeds, I'd send them to you. I hope he enjoys it!
