Went to a Mexican restaurant for GDs 4th birthday dinner tonight. We told them it was her birthday so at the end of dinner they brought out the Mexican band and sombrero and fried ice cream for her and to sing happy birthday in Spanish. She turned all shy and hid behind her dad so they put the sombrero on me after they sang and then SMASHED WHIPPED CREAM IN MY FACE! I did NOT see that coming. The kids and grandkids laughed hysterically

All I could do was laugh along. They must have thought hmmmmm if the little girl won't play along we'll get the old lady

Little did they know I have a good sense of humor. Luckily no pictures were taken

Rosie I agree. I was very surprised but if they ask first probably not many would say yes. I could definitely see that some people would get very upset.

I am a control freak anyway.

It gets worse the older I get too.

Speaking of old...I got one of those grey chin hairs...the end can't be far, right??

I STILL FEEL JUST EXACTLY LIKE ME.
IT IS SUCH A SURPRISE WHENEVER I CATCH A GLIMPSE IN THE TOASTER OR THE MICROWAVE ...WHAT'S MOM DOING IN THE KITCHEN????
