I'm glad you're feeling better, Margaret.

I haven't been to the gym in almost a week due to leg pain. I still have that big trigger point in the side of my leg. I think I'm going to try the gym tomorrow, just take it easy and not use the more challenging machines.

I have done a little fall yard clean-up but still have a long way to go before we can put the yard to sleep for the winter.

Finally found you. I've got a friend who takes something for leg cramps that she can get in the US.

I spent 4-5 hours in the garden yesterday - am paying for it today.

Ann, maybe it's the stuff that Rita takes.

Yesterday I spent the morning cooking a huge pot of beef paprikosh, then cleaning up the mess I made in the kitchen. Glare Serge went shopping for the groceries so I had to put all of that away when he got home, so I got lots of exercise.

Today I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and glider, calf stretches. My legs were pretty good again last night, woke up at 2:30 and the right leg had twinges in it, got up, had to go to the bathroom anyway, took 2 of the leg cramp pills went back to bed and since then I have been fine.

I'm still taking it kind of easy because of the leg, but I did walk a slow 30 minutes on my treadmill.

Pulled out afew more tomato plants. Picked veggies, delivered veggies. Took Lily dog on an exercise walk.

Then my friend came by with her dog so we sat on the front porch and yakked. Dogs played. And her hubby came by with beer so then we all sat around and drank beer. Hilarious! Hilarious!

Worked in the garden pulling out tomato plants. Bundled and tied up what I had pulled out. It is now ready to be put out for yard waste on Wednesday.

Tomorrow continue to pull tomato plants and bundle them up.

Took two shorter walks with my dog for her exercise. Well me exercising also but I didn't feel like I needed to be exercising.

Ate some corn on the cob, tomato sandwiches and half a home grown cantaloupe for dinner. That was my day.

Work out today was directing bells this morning both for a pre-service rehearsal and orchestra rehearsal this evening - last movement of Schubert Symphony #4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?... (We are doing the whole symphony, but this evening worked only on the last movement and then had our AGM). It goes like blazes - half-note = 120 or so and lots of 8th notes all through - listen for the scurrying.

We went for a walk today. My husband had a work obligation so we had to walk early. We started a little after 6AM. It was dark then. It was pretty much light by the time we were finished.

I did my Torture Chamber workout, so am good to go.

I have to work this afternoon; who knows how long that will be. I just never know; it depends on the head count of calves brought in for the auction.

I bought 3 aster plants the other day, so I suppose I'd better go dig them in. 2 purple and 1 red. They will look nice in their intended spot.

Got in a 5 km walk this morning. Started and ended at the pool in time for coffee with those doing aquafit.

Well I worked out in the garden pulling out bean and tomato plants. Bundled up my stuff and put it all out and also the bundles from yesterday at the curb for the yard waste pickup day on Wednesday. Supposed to rain tomorrow so probably wilkl not get more out there for this week. Oh well, I work on it as I can.

Then about a quarter to four got Lily and we went off on a fairly long exercise walk. It was after 5:30 when we got back in. Did 3 miles.

So I got enough exercise today and I know my dog is happy to have gotten a decent walk.

It was a lovely day here, though a bit on the windy side, I worked in the garden most of the day, got a little cleaned up in the long bed behind the house, planted several Dianthus that were still in pots from spring, then I had to water, that bed is very dry because of the willow tree.

This is the time of year everything in the garden needs to be readied up for winter. Lots to do.
