It was a shame you had such a summer. But you do what you can and do not overdo!!

I should take my own advice but I often think I can do more than I can and end up overly tired and sore.

I guess we like to get the job done as soon as possible. I was tempted to get on the patio roof and do some more pruning on the willow, but DH wasn't home and it was really windy, I was afraid I would blow off the roof. Hilarious!

Sad I've pretty much given up crawling out onto the roof. With my bum leg I'm hardly safe walking on the ground.

I hope all of us have given up crawling on roofs.

I think the extent of my gardening today may be to see if I can select some grasses, tomatoes, sedum, foliage plants (hosta leaves?) and/or herbs that are in good enough shape to take to the Hort. Society show tonight. Have a violin student this morning, get my hairs cut at noon, meet with the coffee and conversation group from church this afternoon and have moved my evening student to just before dinner; so it will be a full day. Need to get in some viola practicing too as I'm not taking it to Italy with me next week, but I've ended up leading the viola section for our Oct. 29 concert.

International Viola Congress in Cremona. Cremona, to a string player is like Mecca... I decided it was a better thing to do than attend my Ithaca College 50 year reunion. (I used the word "trumped" but decided maybe that's a bad word to use these days.)

Good call, you should never get up there when no one else is home!! Safety first.

If course I would never get up there at all. You must really be agile.

Rita, not as agile as I was a couple of years ago but still pretty good.

Ann, that's terrific that you get to go to Italy, good choice. Thumbs up

I started PT yesterday for my leg, hopefully it will help. I have been so busy running to different appointments I've had no time to exercise for a couple of days. I'm going to try to get to the gym today, hope I don't regret it, but I just have to get moving again.

On Monday I had my regular appointment with my family doctor. Yesterday I had an eye doctor appointment in the morning, PT in the afternoon, and a haircut at 7 pm. I hate days like that. We ended up just getting a quick dinner at O'Charley's between PT and haircut. Shrug!

I sure hope the PT will be helpful for your leg, just take it easy with the exercise.

I went to the gym but did take it pretty easy. I hope it's OK. I don't go back to PT until Friday but I do have a few new exercises that she gave me to do at home.

That's terrible, Karen, not much you can do when your leg is sore so take it easy today for sure.

I got quite a bit of exercise yesterday, we took a drive to a ranch and a farm that sells their fresh vegetables there, lots of walking around, at the High Desert Ranch they have a huge market building for the produce, we had a fund day.

I haven't taken the leg cramp meds in 3 days, I was testing to see if there was a difference, last night my feet and calves tried to cramp a few times, but I managed to stretch it out. I am still on the fence as to whether it helped or not as they tried to cramp while I was taking it. Shrug!
