The 'gryphon' begonia that I picked up a few weeks ago had really put out some lovely new foliage. It loves where I have it on my front porch where it gets limited morning sun. The dragon wing next to it I guess is a little more particular about that limited sunlight. Maybe I'll turn the pot a bit.
Jacquie I will have to get back to you with pictures. My current computer doesn't have a way of pulling pictures and my laptop is dead. I did take a few and will get them up sometime today. (there are no blooms right now - they're all recovering from not having been watered for almost two weeks)

I understand, but I love looking at the leaves of some of these begonias and I had purchased an entire collection that did not do well and I am now looking for a select few that can be used to take cuttings and resell. My old cain like is perfect for that and that baby has paid for itself over and over. It is getting more difficult finding plants that will be fast growers and still be easy to take care of and use as stock plants. I am patient, Thanks . Have a nice weekend.

Here is one that LOVES the shade...and lots of water. A friend of mine grows this in deep rich soil under a huge tree and the 'head' of leaves is about 2' across... B. luxuriens
Carol that one is gorgeous! I'd love to have something like that!
Thank you Christine! It helps that they've gotten a few drinks since I'm back. The gryphon actually bounced back much more quickly and is putting off all sorts of new growth.
Here are a few of mine in the shade house a little bit of everything mostly begonias one of my favorite
plants. I think this is last years pictures I have taken pictures of this year I will have to find them.
