I really hope it makes seeds. I love this color pattern.

Morning glory takeover...I love it!! These plants are branching out all over the place! I think next winter I'm going to give them something to climb right in front of and around the window, and put a blanket or something behind them at night so they don't freeze. Might sound a little labor intensive, but the show would be worth it!! (The little building out the window with the blanket over the door is our well house which is flooding right now, so with the sump pump hose running out, I can't close it).

Another snowy April day, but this is what I'm looking at inside! Smiling

The plant with a tentative identification of Ipomoea magnusiana is sending out 2 runners and one of the runners has flower buds! I like the dense hairs all over every structure.

Photo tip: When you wish your cats would pose with your flowers to give a little size perspective, just start snapping pictures and they will immediately become jealous and start photobombing! Rolling on the floor laughing

The Ipomoea magnusiana (?) flower stems are quite elongated and upon examining the buds I found a second bud forming.

Yes x 100!

Let's hope for flowers soon and hot pink ones! White flower color is a possibility and would also be exciting to see.

I'm just curious, how many pots of them do you each have indoors? I don't have any at the moment, but plan to have fun with them next winter.

I have maybe 5 pots of actively growing plants. I have a bunch of dormant plants in the garage starting to wake up (yikes!).

I have 9, did ten and lost one. I had 4 dormant ones I overwintered and one giant Argyreia nervosa that grows in my sunroom...It's never had a flower and it's going on at least 4 years old!

I had an Ipomoea albivenia that didn't bloom for 8 years. I bet the Argyreia nervosa is getting huge!
