I've not yet planted my zucchini. I'm trying to out-wait the dreaded squash vine borer (read that they are generally done laying eggs by early July). I've tried everything else, so hopefully planting really late will work. Fingers crossed

Me, too, Rita. Zucchini is our absolutely favorite veggie, and I absolutely have been unable to grow them. It makes me so sad I can't manage to get a single zucchini when most people are giving them away.
