It is indeed possible but it sounds like they aren't interested (based on the reply that was tree mailed to me)

Thanks Dave, but I don't know how to find it on the site as it's not anywhere I have looked from the Plant tab. Is it not ready to be made public?

I consider this to still be a bit beta but am planning to incorporate it into the Plants tab homepage soon.

What would we need in order to add a search option for color to the Tulip search? I was thinking, for example: within a division search by color??

There's 2,082 Narcissus listed on the KAVB site, but the RHS has the International daffodil register.

http://kavb.back2p.soft-orange...

There's a contact email for the daffodil register, I wonder if they would be willing to give a list. I found you can get it but it costs £40! The three supplements on top of that cost £5 each but there's downloadable links to those for free.

http://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/R...

The RHS search link for daffs..

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/horticu...

If anyone else is looking they can get info on Dahlias, Hippeastrum, and many more bulbs.

Don't you love the RHS, Janet!?

Thanks, those are great links! Appreciate it!

I was a member for years , when they had the overseas seed exchange. But that has changed now with postal regulations.

You must enjoy Wisley and Kew among others.... Smiling

The RHS is definitely a handy site to use Janice! I have never managed to visit Wisley or Kew, but these places are part of the heart of the gardening successes, without the efforts of those who had the passion in the past (and the money to do it) we certainly wouldn't be enjoying what we do now.

I'm not sure if the daffodil register comes as a download, I would think it does but it comes in book form. For the enthusiast it certainly would be a good buy.

I could get it for £34 with free p&p from Amazon, but I don't really need it.

Never been to either?
I shouldn't be surprised.
When we lived at the beach, it became so matter of fact, that we hardly went at all!

That looks like an interesting book! I tip my hat to you.

Lol, there is a huge cathedral in Lincoln about a thousand years old which to anyone seeing it for the first time is amazing, you feel like an ant stood next to it. It's common place to me now!

The book on Amazon is the one offered on the RHS which is available via their book shop. I almost feel I should buy it! Hilarious! Amazon have three in stock only, even though they say there will be more ordered soon that is often not the case.

A major reference work containing the names of all daffodil (Narcissus) cultivars registered up to June 2007. It includes the classification and colour code, originator and registrant, date, parentage, description, synonyms and awards for the cultivars. In addition, it provides a list of name and synonyms for the species together with a botanical classification. It also includes an illustrated cultivar classification, a pictorial glossary of descriptive terms and an A-Z of daffodil raisers.

Dave,
Could we please replace the drop down box with check off boxes under "Special Classes" ?
There are daffodils which possess multiple classes we will need to specify.
Thanks! Smiling
