Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing you two are funny! We have bunches of grey tree rats here. Also a few fox squirrels...cool looking critters. I enjoy watching the squirrels romp and play...don't mind that they eat the birdseed...BUT...do they HAVE to eat the feeders too Glare Glare and that includes the humming bird feeders Angry stupid VARMITS. Oh well they are good for a laugh Hilarious! Hilarious!

I saw a black squirrel today. Only a brief sighting as it was climbing a tree and soon dissapeared out of sight. But the good news is it was only afew blocks away from my house so maybe I will get lucky and see it again.

Now that is interesting.
Makes me wonder what's out there that the rest of our wildlife could be getting into.
And our pets.

It reminds me of "I never saw a purple cow, I never hope to see one . . ."

it looks nice in other colors... although I've never minded the gray or black ones for their color..their behavior and attitude are a problem... ..I've always like the yankee feeders... entertaining as well as a good determent..at times I've wanted to fill it up and hang on the redge of the roof.. launching the things into the air and off the roof.. it's the 4th floor.. but they would likwly land in the canopy of the trees in the back gardens.. but it would be a long walk back up the fire escape..

Sharon, I do wonder if that is a result of fracking releasing who-knows-what into the ground as was suggested. Don't get me started on that. Glare

Gordon, you're bad.

I really hope the purple squirrel is some sort of prank where perhaps someone caught, dyed, and released it ... but I'm afraid it isn't. Purple squirrels and purple cows with purple meat and purple milk is not a pretty picture at all. We're poisoned enough as it is.

Oh.. you hear that all the time... going to dye my self purple and move into the village.. there was this guy there ..years ago.. adam purple... he'd get purple all over and bike about.. lets see if there's a google hit on him.. yes... Adam purple started a comunity garden.. well it was his and he had comunity help.. I guess.. it was eventually taken back by the owners and developed... I think he was allowed to move to start a new one iif he wished..

this was his squatters garden ... as you can see it was a demolishing area then... now all clean with many thousands a month for apt rents.. I lived near there abour 6 year before the garden.. I had 27 room apartment with a rent of $27.00 / mo... well really the $27 was for 3 rooms... but when other apartments were abandoned.. I'd pad lock the doors to keep the riff raff out.. and incorporate it into the realm.. mostly found art material storage and studio
