Be careful when you mow Marilyn. They're so tiny you can miss seeing them & they get so freaked they're libel to run right into the mower. We had some in our yard & it came close a few times.

They're adorable! great photos too. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Thanks! Green Grin!

DH and I aren't able to mow the grass, so we have a guy (think he's mid to late 20's or so) that does it. I'll have to mention next time he's out here to be on the lookout for the little bunnies. Thumbs up

This is not in anyone's garden but I thought you might like to see these photos anyway. They're pretty cool.

Way cool. I was especially impressed with how well the larger animals blend in.

Very hard to spot some of them. Reminds me of the fox that I didn't spot until it ran away.

Since it is feral, I'll count this rooster as wildlife. Although...as much time as the two of them spent in my yard this winter, maybe only sort of wild. Obviously, they derive some degree of safety from staying close a lot. And the food might be better here, I guess.

Yes, he does seem to be a handsome boy. He goes through phases where he pecks at objects that reflect his own image. I guess he's trying to defend his territory!

In late May, at the edge of our yard, we saw a mama wild rabbit feeding her 5 adorable tiny babies! First time we ever witnessed it.

Finally on May 23 (a few days later), DH was able to get some pics of the baby rabbits, but not of the mama feeding the babies.

He took a few videos also. Two of the videos are of mama bunny feeding her 5 babies.

First, the pics....

I can't get the videos to post and show up here. Sad

It's a good thing DH got the pics and videos on the 23, because we didn't see the mama bunny and her 5 babies after that together. We still see little bunnies in the yard, but not together like they were before.
