I'm losing faith in that Allison.

Did you see where there was a tornado at Churchill Downs last night?

There was another 1" of rain exactly in my rain gauge from last night. Now it's pretty bright, a little overcast.

Hope it's not a bad one Allison!

It's actually pretty sunny here, 30% chance of rain. I like those odds. Weather lady said it should just be rain, not violent storms for a change.

Wish you could send a bit of that rain our way. We are now in moderate drought. It's been overcast all day, terribly humid but so far no rain.
Saw those pics from CD...wow...

Bev--you can have some of my rain. The 6" we got earlier in the week was more than enough for a while. It's raining again now......and it's only 68 degrees. This weather just cannot make up it's mind.

Must be that cold front that's supposed to move through. It's part sun here, 80°, and really windy.

I'm glad it wasn't bad Allison. I think that cold front must be moving in here. It's cooler and that awful humidity is gone. It's windy too!

I'd take it Linda...Overcast all day, highs are usually mid to upper 90's and still no rain. I must say that the tomatoes and other veggies don't mind, but my water bill will be an 'oucher'.
Hope your storms aren't too bad Allison.

Like you Allison, we sit up high, on a BIG hill right over the Ohio River. Lots of flooding in the area this year but it didn't affect our house.

We had 3 big cracks in our foundation which have been there for years. They got worse with the drought last year. Luckily I decided to have them fixed this year. Did it in early March as soon as the weather broke. If we hadn't, our basement would have flooded many times this year.

It's cold and cloudy today (68°). I was in a downpour on the way home from work. The yard got all wet again. I haven't been out in the yard yet today, haven't checked my plants.

Well today it was sunny; My buddy came to our mfg plant and got rid of two trees and a bunch of falling down fence. By 5 PM he was mowing the lawn and spraying for weeds; good day.

Terese,
The Burts Bees stuff was actually in our WalMart!

Wow! Good to see things transferring over. Anyone getting tomatoes? We have just begun to harvest in earnest. The first ones were smallish, but Mortgage Lifter is coming on.

Rain started coming in over the last 2 weeks...not every day, but enough to keep things going without having to water. Thank goodness!
