Ajuga just getting ready to bloom hare.
Queen of Night tulips, too.
Blue phlox is all blued up, with the muscari, my ONE little Tubergen's Gem, and one of the groundcover veronicas.

Dandelions are also yellowing. I just rip their little heads off while they're still yellow and bring my house rabbit "Bunny Bouquets". Which reminds me the strawberries are blooming also. No sign of my asparagus yet and I am concerned. I pickes every little stalk I found last year and I'm afraid I stole too much energy from the plant... Sad

And the pulsatilla vulgaris has been open for awhile. The one I moved when it was just a bud is a little lighter than the other 2. Think there's a connection there?

Woohoo ... my first Iris blooming. Well, not the first Iris of my life but my first ones here. A gardening friend over in the Nashville area gave me the NOIDs -- blue, purple. I know they are TBI but other than that, no ID.

But now I definitely remember why people become so smitten with Iris. Lovey dubby

They ARE!
They look lovely in my bunny bouquets.
And they are yummy and healthy for her!
AND if I pick them when they are still yellow, they don't let seeds fly.

OMG I put some in a pot the first winter I was a bunny mom and kept it in the south window with some veggie seedlings. APHIDS came out of the dandelions and dessimated EVERYTHING. Couldn't use the room for houseplants for quite awhile!
