Plants. And really nice ones, too!!! I really should have taken pics (this is my first plant order from them), but I'm stressed for planting time today and these would have required space in the fridge if not planted right away.

So far, I'm very pleased. One more to plant ...

....New Jersey Tea. I did get a photo of this last one since it hadn't been planted yet.

The iris and anemone are all done. Hurray!

Well, for three dollars each, the iris roots were thick and plentiful, and the tops were green; a definite plus in my book. I've ordered iris from other suppliers that are just a piece of dried up-looking root - you never know if they're alive or not that way.

The anemone was just beginning to show; once again, I like getting plants that show life, but aren't completely grown out.

The New Jersey Tea was seven dollars; about a dollar an inch (for top growth), which is great because I've read that these can be difficult to establish. A really big plant probably wouldn't do as well.

I think they have a really good idea of what will transplant best for their customers, while keeping in mind that we want to know that what we're getting is alive, and not just a dead root.

So far, a definite Thumbs up from me. Big Grin

I'll load the one image I took when I go back inside. Smiling

Well, my Dogwood is about in full bloom. I think I will take some pics tomorrow, only had time for a few this morning. I was looking at all the hostas coming up and was impressed at how fast 'sea thunder' came up. I have three and that is about all you can see for the nursery bed the others are barely poking through. Also found that a couple of tags are missing and I have no clue what they are, one was damaged my me transplanting a shrub because I did not know it was there. Crying

I agree I'm generally always here... Whistling

I'm looking for iris that like wet feet, or generally moist situations.

I have to add this one here...it's the most astounding (perennial acting) tulip! I do absolutely nothing for it; in fact, I didn't even plant it, a squirrel brought it over from mom's garden area. Rolling on the floor laughing

That critter must have known the absolute best spot to put it, because it flowers year after year, without digging it up or anything. Each year it increases its number of blooms as well. Last year there were four, this year there's seven! The blooms usually last a really long time, too; sometimes for months. Hurray!
