Allison I think we are getting Tstorms and a cold front moving thru today. The winds from these fronts can be as damaging as 60mph from any other source.
Is the front due thru your space?
My cosmos are tied to the garden spike thingie and have been in a peonie cage for months. There are 6 plants in the bunch and some are just on their own what ever happens.
Good luck Allison by Sat. Earl should be further north and we will know if there is any damage or not.

yes it is moving by us today ... this afternoon.. looks like it is going to impact the shore more than me... but you never know what kind of backlash ... I am pouting because there are tons of other cosmos that are not staked ... and most just about to bloom... I more or less tossed seeds everywhere in the front bed by the driveway last year... good luck to all today and tomorrow
