Yes, very nice Michele and Betty. That is a lot of pics to post Michele. I bet by now your fingers
know what to do without you even thinking about it.

If Trimmer's Angels of Heaven folds back in its later blooms, it will look just like his photo.
Or better. I often have Trimmer's flowers look better than his own photos. Makes my day.
He is great.

Wow, Michelle,

You spent a lot of time taking pictures and posting them. Thanks, thanks, thanks!! Hurray! I know how time consuming it is to take so many pictures and edit them.

I don't have much bloom this morning, but when I do I will post them on my thread. Mostly what is blooming here now is new arrivals on Fla time.

No we aren't at peak bloom yet. Actually in my beds I only have about 50% bloomed. James has so many daylilies (and a lot of these photos are the ones he's sold/selling) that it seems we are at peak but were not.

Yes, thank you for taking the time to shoot and post them all. It is a glorious way to have blooms before our season starts. Hurray! Hurray! Group hug

It didn't open well, but RED CLOUD MESA was my first bloom of the season.

My Red Cloud Mesa was also the first of my plants to put up scapes this year. It had 3 but they were only about 6" tall and were really looking deformed. 2 scapes actually died and the other one lost all buds except for one. It might bloom but it's not looking good. I did notice that it has put on a healthy looking scape, so maybe it will bloom later.

Leslie was your plant divided last year? Mine was and I'm wondering if that was the cause of it putting up the bad scapes?

No, it wasn't divided but was in a pot until last fall.

Thank you Shirlee

Betty, it's James'. I'm sure he'll have it in the fall if you don't find it anywhere else. It does show up on the LA once in awhile, just save it in your wanted items so you'll know when it does or when you are ready to buy it see if the Salters have it available.

Michele, Your photos are so perfect. You are doing such a wonderful job. I can only imagine the time your putting into this.

In no order, just ones I find perfect for me:

Breakfast With Santa
Ducks Dark Side
Fabulous Black Pearl
florence Denny - I looked up the stats. This one is 8". Is it really that big???
Gothic Finery- This is a must have
Ivan Attitude - Your photo is the best of this one that I've seen.

Mona, Florence Denny is registered at 8.5" but the blooms have been 9"-10". It really is a huge bloom.

Here's a photo of Ivan Attitude from last year. I really do loved this one

Good grief, Ivan Attitude is one big blossom. 9 to 10 inches.
Just about everything I ordered this year are big eyed ones, and I somehow
missed Ivan Attitude.

What is that pink and white one in the background?

Oops, sorry....Ivan isn't that large. I was referring to Mona's question on Florence Denny Green Grin!
I edited the post to reflect that.

That's okay Michele. It's late, probably been a long day for you.
