Memory of Morning made me gasp! Twice!! Oh my goodness, that is a gorgeous bloom. I love the colors, the shape of the petals and that eye is something I'd love to see in my garden. OHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH.

Ok, enough, the rest are great too. Talladega is one I wanted to get last year but when I found out it wasn't bright fire engine red, I decided not to get it. Now, with this photo, I want it again!

Mona, I have noticed that in photos of Talladega there is a difference in color from garden to garden. Some are red like mine and others are that lavender (?) color. I'm assuming it has to do with soil.

They are all very nice. Really enjoying seeing them.
This is great to see garden images of so many cultivars.

Well, I'm sure it will be on the auction either in the fall or next year by a few people that do ship to CA. I started not to ship to CA either until I found out I didn't have to jump through all of the hoops, as well as, join the circus to do it.

Started raining yesterday at 10am, right after I finished hybridizing, and rained until sometime after I went to bed last night. This morning the wind is blowing like a hurricane with a forcast in the 30s sometime this week.Gotta love the weather man.

SHIRLEE, I just realized I never did answer you about the daylily in the background of the Ivan Attitude photo, it's Jelly Maker. Here's a photo from last year, it hasn't bloomed yet this year

Oh Michele, so that's what it is. That one keeps popping up on my list,
mainly because it is in the background of some nice babies.

Fred, all of those are so nice. Weather predicted for 30s. Oh, my goodness,
with so many of your plants blooming. I hope you don't have freezing temps.

Predictions here anywhere from 31 to 34 degrees next two or three days
depending on what weather site you choose to listen to. I'm not liking that.

I really like all of those, Fred -- and I'm so glad I have MRS. WILLIAM KEMBLE DUPONT and KEEP ON SHININ'. It's so good to see pictures of them actually blooming in someone's garden rather than just the hybridizers' pictures.

You've gotta love LILLIAN'S THIN ICE. It stands out even in that crowd.

BOB MARTIN was named for the nicest kind of man from Orange City, FL. We were officers in the Sunbelt Club together. His wife is lovely too. I have a cross stitch piece of daylilies framed in my kitchen she did as a going away gift and she made a cross stitched pillow with MOOSE MAN on it and even did the bloom that looks like the real one.
