Here's my catasetum. I found out it needed a dry period and stopped watering it this fall but then it grew roots (I read to start watering it again when the roots were 2 inches). Then it made a bud which blasted so I stopped watering it for the winter. Sure enough a new growth started and it grew 2" roots again and now a new spike. So hopefully it will bloom this time now that it's in the right season.

My Renanthera Nancy Chandler is going downhill fast. Not enough roots to chop it off. The bottom leaves are coming off faster and the top ones are shrivelling despite all the water!

Your Renanthera is going the same way as most of the Vanda at work...very sad to see and I have no idea how to reverse the downhill process.

That Laelia is a charmer for sure!

Well done Bree...that Cattleya is quite beautiful!

Here is my Phalaenopsis Sogo pearl....going on 4 years old. This is the third time it's bloomed. It never has more than 3-4 flowers at a time.

Dendrobium kingianum is still going. I have 5 from the one original plant so I stagger the dry, cool period so i can extend the blooming season.

2 spikes this year, not too tall. The blooms have a "green scent" in the direction of Coriander and Dill.

Ursula I bought one of these but the leaf edge is yellowing on one leaf. Too much water? How much light do you have it in?
