Incredible Fred. That one should go over to the photo section too.

Todd, why can't you do Tolumnias?

Lindsey, I'll look for your polka dot in our next shipment and let you know. Yes, don't cut the spikes. They'll probably throw spikes at the nodes right below where the first flower dropped. BTW, if you're referring to the last photo I posted, it's not a Tol.. Though the flowers are around the same size, the plants is compact but not mini.

These are small flowers. I'm not sure if they will expand.

My misnamed Eplc.Pixie Charm. What is interesting is that my "real" Pixie Charm is also in bud. Could they be siblings?

Paph Henrietta Fujiwara has finally opened. When I saw that it was budded I moved it to more light. At first it took off, then got used to the light and slowed down!!

Hey Kathy, you were busy here.
I don't know the Pixie Charm well enough, googling and especially parentage check might help.
The Vanda lamellata looks interesting, I had to look it up.

Is yours a variety of lamellata?

All 4 spikes are now open on Cymbidium Mimi 'Mary Bea'.
I had posted the first open spike and a single bloom in the first March thread.
http://cubits.org/orchids/thre...

The blooms are really nicely shaped and dark. I took the plant pic yesterday in fairly bright afternoon light.
I would think this plant earned its upkeep. I love it!

I pulled the plant out for a whole picture but couldn't back up far enough to get the whole length of the roots in focus.

My Barkeria melanocaulon bloomed for months ( truly!) and I was surprised to see it branching on the lower part of the just about spent spike and opening more buds. No complaints here.
