Name: Mona Guntown, Ms (Zone 7b) I love nature & everything outdoors
Rita, Of the beauty you must be enjoying. Such color, wonderful color!!! The red Azeala is so pretty, I love red and the Cherry Laurel is awesome. I'd love to find one of them. You've achieved a degree of beauty in your garden that is hard to get. You have worked very hard and you are blessed with the ability to see how to do this. I'd love to see it in person, it musst bring you alot of pleasure!!!
Thank you Mona. I do love my garden and spend lots of time on it. I also spend lots of time thinking on how to make it better. Believe me it took, many, many years to get this far.
Thanks guys. That Azalea just turned out extra nice this year. I will have to see if I can get some pictures of the blue lilacs here and the others ones I haven't gotten pics of as yet.
Here are The Copper Queen Daffs blooming in the backyard.
Roulette daffs still blooming away in the front yard.
And a batch of Merlin daffs also in the front yard.
The Copper Queen daffodils have bloomed for a long time. I think
they are the ones I commented on before that I like a lot. Looking
great, Rita. You have outdone yourself.
Those Copper Queens Started around April 19th so not really blooming that long yet. The Roulette still blooming started much earlier. Daffs just keep right on blooming around here. Considering they started Feb 10th and are still going strong, it has made for a very long bloom period.
Today I took lots of pictures of the southside rose garden area. Roses are budded up but since I prunned them mid late March and the weather was so warm already, I should have prunned them earlier. They would have been taller by now if I did that. The Wood hycinths in there are in full bloom now.
Here is a closer view of those Wood Hyacinths blooming.
Not so much work to do this spring. I have more time to just sit out in the garden and enjoy it since I am out of room and can't add any more gardenbeds even if I wanted too.
