Lovely, Rita. Like the wood hyacinths and the honeysuckle too.
That is a solid red honeysuckle isn't it?

Rita, if you get bored, hop on an airplane and head South. I'll be glad to let you design, dig up, plant, and anything else you'd like to do.

Ha, ha. Never bored. I still have plenty to do here, just that I don't have to work as hard lately since I have no new garden beds to create.

Some pictures of blooming shrubs today-

More Azaleas blooming.

Thanks everyone. That is the general idea here. To always have masses of something in bloom. Took me years to get to this point!

My iris are starting to bloom much much earlier than has ever happened before.

The first TB iris to bloom here is KICKAPOO KANGAROO

nodding I am gradullly getting it so that there is usually something blooming around here. Especially during the spring and late summer. The spring bulbs were really extra great this year and as I have already ordered a ton more I extect they will be even better yet next spring. Plus all my lilacs bloomed this year. I had some that never bloomed before this year. Azaleas always put on a great show as I have many of them.
