Wonderful show Jim. Gosh those Stanhopeas are great!! What is the scent on the wardii like? I've never smelled a Stanhopea although I've seen them open in greenhouses-just too many other flowers blooming to isolate the scent. My Green Hornet (hafta upload a pic) has also been blooming forever and keeps making new buds. People who visit can't believe it's an orchid. I think it's perfect that your Bulbo frostii wooden boots smell but I bet it's more like rotten meat than feet!! How big a plant is that? I have a mini that hasn't bloomed. I believe I got it after you posted pics last year.
Somehow I forgot to watch this Month's thread and have sure missed some great shots. Thanks for the new watering video Kathy. A number of the phals that bloomed for me earlier this summer are sending out new stems and reblooming.
This is Phal Ming-Hsing Yellow Boy 'Montclair'.

Paph Druid Spring's first bloom did not last very long. I think it may have been damaged in shipping, but a second one has opened and now it has sent up another stem with at least 2 more buds.
Oh so jealous!!! I have lots of paphs but can't get them to bloom! I do better with Phrags (opposite to Todd, hey where is Todd?) Gina Short is gorgeous with three blooms!!! You must be a proud mama and the yellow Druid's Spring is a wonderful color!
back from a few days in Pennsy with company -
You all were busy posting wonderful stuff in the meanwhile! Gorgeous Paphs and Phals! Love the Stanhopeas, Jim!
Nice Green Hornet and Enc alata!
Thanks, Ursula. Speaking of Stanhopeas, that Stanhopea nigroviolacea that Richard posted on the Kew thread pushed me over the top, so I just ordered one from Woodland Orchids. I can't wait. That will make 6 Stanhopeas for me.
