boojum- my cymbidium was in old coco chips. (my fault i supose). Now nothing is.
I just hate the stuff and had most of my orchids potted in them and they started staying to wet, growing green algae on the chips, bugs love them and then when they dry out they need alot to rewet them. Don't know im no orchid expert but i havent killed anything or had any of these problems now ive changed to bark chunks.

My heart be still, it looks like a large-flowered rupicoulous laelia!! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby The color is pale yellow with a touch of green today which some of the pics show better than others. No scent yet but I hope maybe in a few days.

Also, I'd like to ask a favor...Can all of you put the pics you posted in Aug and in the photo contest in the database? (me, too!) That surely would help me so much! Several new people have shown up here by googling a flower they just bought and finding it in the database.

You know, yours looks much nicer than the one at their website.

Around here the Dendrobium Luz del Dia 'Kiilani' is opening a nice spike. This one really loves the hot weather.
