You're welcome, Lindsey! Glad to see it's performing as advertised. The mother plant looks pretty bad from the 7 day rain in Dec. Lost a lot of leaves, but still blooming, as is the piece mounted on the lemon tree.
My Waiomao Fantasy has a spike also, but it's taking it's sweet time maturing.

I have a orchid tagged Glenn maidment (blc. Sunstate Colorchart x George king) opening a single bud. Looks like a straight Sunstate colorchart though? Red with the depper red/purple lip and yellow striated throat. and floof alert coming up..hehe!Thumb of 2011-02-06/bree/7f8d17

OrchidWiz has Glenn Maidment as Rhyncholaeliocattleya Toshie Aoki x Cattleya Horace. Looks a lot like Blc. Sunstate Colorchart, I agree. It's a beautiful floofy!

aside from the expected excitement of blooms..I enjoy this thread because
most of the time I don't know what it will look like for a particular plant to spike.
I think I have an Ascocentrum (I'll have to go check) so this is very helpful. If
all those 'bumps' are flowers, it's going to be glorious!
