Hmm, have to look at my wenzelii. This one seems to be so far always the latest of my Dendrochilums to bloom.

My wenzelii is at just about the same stage as yours Kathy, I have not been able to get a decent shot
of it. I tried to count the spikes and lost track at 7.
I also have a noid phaiusThumb of 2011-01-10/sugarcane/1bdcff that I got in a DG trade last summer, I can't wait to see the blooms!
and Slc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y.T." This one came from a Lowe's scratch and dent table , also last summer.

And Lc. Tokyo Magic 'Moonbeam' x B. digbyana 'Mrs. Chase' . I believe this one will score very high on the 'floof' scale. Hilarious!

Hurray! Great buds!!

I think my "saved" plant may be Slc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y.T' so we can compare and I might have an ID. So far the way the buds are sprouting, they look alike!!

Hmmm. That looks awfully pink, Carol! But reds are hard to film. Here's an old pic I took. I sure hope that that's the one in bud after all this excitement!!!

You're right about the reds being tough to photograph! I just hope mine makes it past the sheath stage.

By the way, The Orchid abreviations page seems to have disappeared, at least from IE
