Took pics today but darn, I just don't feel like going down the stairs to upload them. I am dying for my new computer! Coming Tuesday at 4:30 according to Fedex. It's going to be so much faster than the old one and I'll have Windows 7, a 1T hard drive, and lots of memory! Meantime, I'm on an ancient computer down in my office or I sneak on my DBF's laptop, iPad, and iPhone! It's not like I don't have resources! Hilarious! but I'm still in serious computer withdrawal. I guess when it comes, all I'll need is.....A GREENHOUSE!!

Oops. We are WAY over 100 posts. Anyone with a good pic want to start December Orchids 2?

~ ~ ~ Waving Hi to everyone ~ ~ ~

I'm still "lurking" and still drooling at all y'alls wonderful Orchids!! Great growers you all are!

Kathy: I can't believe you don't have a greenhouse! My goodness, where do you keep all those gorgeous plants? I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a GH again ... my husband mentioned to me a couple of days ago that he saw a kit advertised on some internet site he visits. Big Grin I'm still not sure though ... the last one I had (back in the 1970's) was large but wasn't heated, so during cold snaps and the occasional freezes I had to move plants in and out which was a hassle. If I ever have another GH it will have to have a heat source for sure because I know I'd end up with even more plants than I already have!! And, I hate he moving in and out, trying to protect them from the cold.

I have two orchids in bloom right now, Dendrobium Mandarin Pink and Oncidium Nanboh Waltz

Thanks Kathy! Oh, I bet your office, and the art studio are wonderful places to work and create, with all that beauty surrounding you!

Yes, my office is great when the sun pours in the southern picture windows, but my art studio has to stay cool so I don't often work in there now. The plants and photography have replaced the painting.
