Im', laughing, because we're hoping for the promised .10" to .50" of rain tomorrow night, but it has been cold (by our standards) here.... Down to 35 a couple of nights, with highs in the sixtys. We are such whimps!. Hilarious!

brrr
But it is toasty inside.... Smiling The Epidendrum parkinsonianum is opening 4 buds. For some reason it skipped blooming outside this Summer.
I moved it from its normal spot among the Vandas to the front so it is easier visible at walk-in and also "sniffable" at sundown. It smells heavenly, a clean soapy smell, perhaps in the direction of the lovely scent of Acidantheras. I like it a lot.

I grow it cool in winter and that is where it blooms. Needs lots of light.
