Love the Cym Nut 'Red Beauty' and of course the Bulbo. Solar flare is great as well. So many beautiful orchids.

The chili was great. I'm slowly growing my tongue back. Hilarious!

Blc Chia Lin 'New City' is a winner Jim.

Great Cymbidiums Kathy, I love your Dendrochilum wenzelii, can't get mine to rebloom.

This one labeled Odontocidium Wildcat 'White Lip' looks suspiciously similar to Todd's Odontocidium Wildcat 'Yellow Butterfly'. Todd, does the lip on yours open with hint of yellow and quickly fade to white?

My NOID Paph now has 2 blooms. It is a large plant with 12 inch long and up to 3 inch wide leaves, the bloom stems are about 18 inches long.

Very nice, Ken. I wish I could grow paphs like that.

Cymbidium Laurel, aka Leodogran 'Cradlemont', is coming along nicely.

This is Cym Milton Carpenter 'Everglades Gold' and I know the bloom is a little ragged, but it sat outside through all of this cold, had blankets thrown over it and bloomed the entire time. I think it deserves a picture.

On the other side of the coin, these Spathoglottis plicata orchids were right next to the cyms and were also covered with blankets. Looks like I'll start over.

At a recent open house at Silva Orchids I was really smitten with Cattleya Nancy Off '1010'. I opted to take a plant in spike and watch them open here. And this plant had another new growth too.
All three buds opened beautifully, but to me it doesn't look like C Nancy Off '1010', which had really wide petals slightly overlapping
in the center and which didn't have this forward stance. I sent these pictures to Silva this morning and they think it is the same plant, but will hold a future division for me on the plant I had really liked. Nice guys! Thumbs up
In any case, I love this plant too, but I am not convinced it is Nancy Off '1010'.

"Lc Hausermann's Firewings" opened this week. The blooms are somewhat larger than last year, as the plant added stronger growth. This one came from the Hoosier going out of business sale.

The spread is a bit over 5 inches across - that is as is, not flattened out.

Nice!! On Orchid Wiz Cattleya it says Irene Finney x Cattleya Interglossa. Isn't Irene a spring bloomer? Interglossa is amethystoglossa (Feb bloomer) x intermedia (which is sposta bloom mostly in May but blooms early spring here). So the interglossa parent is the early one. Sorry, I'm in a new learning stage here. Trying to understand the seasons better.

Ursula, that is a great pick-up for a going out of business sale! Good shopping!

As expected, C. Tiffin Bell X Blc Eward McDonald opened last night. Two blooms now and one still to go.

Jim

Thanks.
Jim, nice delicate colors on your Catt.

Kathy, does Orchid Whiz show a picture of Lc Hausermann's Firewings and if so, how does it compare?
I had bought the plant as Irene Finney, it was labeled as such ( very poorly labeled too/bad handwriting, I think we had come now to the "lesser plants" in that sale)) . But, when it bloomed it was obviously not IF, but a very nice splash-petal. So, looking around we came to the conclusion, that this is an Irene Finney Hybrid and Lc Hausermann's Firewings seemed like a fairly obvious choice.
