Perfect timing Cheryl! It's not even spring yet but allergies have already started kicking my butt.

Cheryl, apparently storms can blow the seeds of those things a couple of hundred miles, because my daughter found a big one growing in the middle of the woods behind our house, and it had a sticker saying it belonged to the city of Gulfport. The only way I can think of how it ended up in the deep woods in central MS was that Katrina planted it there years ago. (Katrina was still a Cat 2 hurricane when it reached here; I never thought a storm could reach this far inland and still be a hurricane, but Katrina did!)

Very familiar with Katrina and it's victims here in Houston! That last tornado in AL blew a billboard 20 miles! I know hurricanes can do much worse. It's almost Hurricane Season...

I saw the wascally wabbit who at night would eat some of the corn I put out for the porker squirrels and he is not lean and thin.
Now I know why some animal tracks did not break the surface of the snow and others looked like a snow plow went through.
